Daily Health Tip! Desk Workout

Take 5! In the next 5min sitting at your desk complete these 5 exercises....

1. High knees...alternating feet lift them off the ground in a marching motion (1min)
2. Calf raises...put your feet flat on the floor and raise up your heels flexing your calf muscles, return heels to floor relaxing calves, repeat (1min)
3. Shoulder press... make a 90degree angle with your elbows at shoulder height. Extend arms to the sky then come back to your 90degree bend. repeat (1min)
4. Abdominal flex... sit up straight and practice bringing your belly button to your spine flexing your abdominals. hold the flex for a count of 3 then relax for 3. repeat (1min)
5. Deep Breathing... take a deep breath in, hold for a few seconds then exhale. Repeat 3-4x
